I have committed horribly fucked-up Macbeth genderfuck foe yay fic. So, obviously, this is the best way to make a first impression on the community.
Still, I think it's a good fic, and hopefully I'm not the only one who's into it, so maybe you'll give it a shot?

Necessary background information for those of you who don't attend Mary Baldwin College:
Our theatre recently put on a production of Macbeth, Ph.D., a version of Shakespeare's Macbeth as reinterpreted by Clinton Johnston to be played by an all female cast, set at a women's college in the 1950s. Sounds like crack, but it really didn't play as crack.

I did some minor crew work on the show, which is why I was hanging out in the green room when, during the final fight between Macduff and Macbeth, a friend (Lady Macbeth, in fact) commented that their fighting to the death noises sounded an awful lot like violent sex noises, and you can see where that got me.

Title: Cries Hold Enough
Pairing: Macbeth/Macduff
Fandom: Macbeth Ph.D. If that has a fandom outside of me and maybe iambic5 .
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Final fight scene AU. Macduff tracks Macbeth down for revenge. Things get out of hand.
Warnings: Non/dubcon, character death.
Disclaimer: I own nothing and all that.
Beta'd: If anyone wants to, that would be lovely.

OMG, I made icons! I do not do this enough. It is so fun. Anyway, here's a whole lot of Jeffrey Combs centric icons from the Re-Animator trilogy and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Both these fandoms are tiny and/or dead enough I think they'll fit in here.
Warnings: There's some gore. Also, theoretically there are spoilers in these, but I'd say the statute of limitations has long run out them.
How To Use: Credit if you take. Feel free to use blank ones as bases, but credit me if you do.

There are a lot of wonderful writing and art challenges out there, but this one was created to fill a particular niche. Do you find that sometimes in rushing to contribute in excitement to all of the wonderful popular fandoms that you discover, you forget about some of our old favourites? Or maybe there's a fandom you love that no one else seems to have discovered yet, and you wish you could find more people who love it too, or at least find fics written or art drawn about it.

Well if that sounds familiar, this is the challenge community for you.

Come check us out, at obscurefandom!

Title: Dancing Lessons
Author: Rez Montrose
Fandom: The Pretty Perfume Maker
Genre: General/Humor
Summary: In which Bavolet can't dance, and Poirot is a good friend. Silly and friendshippy. (And not nearly as slashy as I thought it would come out, unless you count two men dancing as slash.)
Read it!Collapse )

A fandom summary can be found two posts down-- *points* Also! Exciting news! I have the "soundtrack" of one of our performances of PPM! Now, the recording quality is kind of wonky because of it being live and in a weird space (i.e. a black box.. yes, you can do an operetta in a small theatre!) but if anyone is interested in hearing the music, I can attempt to get it to you somehow. So. Yes.

(Stay tuned, there's a The Thief and the Cobbler fic in the works that I promised psychodeathwish. Should be fun!)

Er, hello, everyone! I'm new, as you can tell. Name's V; it's nice to meet you all.

Also, after reading the userinfo, this would definitely count as a new fandom to the community, as I'm only the second one to post. XD Feel free to add it to the interests, though this community would be the first to have it, and I don't think too many people are looking for the game in question to begin with... Ahaha. But I'm sure it's worth a shot.

Title: Nevermore
Author: V. Gainsborough
Fandom: Flood of Tears.
Genre: Angst.
Summary: "It was a chain of endless hurt and neither of them could let go." Hinano-centric drabble; spoilers for Umi's path.

Enjoy!

ETA: It suddenly occurred to me that people might be curious about the source material? Maybe? XD; So here's a small summary: Sparing the flists.Collapse )

And now, fanfiction! I don't write straight-up romance very often, so this was a fun experiment. (It came out as a double-drabble, not as two drabbles like I thought it was going to be. *pokes* Silly bunnies, all... going together and things. Meh.)

Title: Mistaken
Author: Rez Montrose
Fandom: The Pretty Perfume Maker
Genre: Romance
Summary: Arthemise knows about mistaken identity. Specifically, she knows how to turn it to her advantage. Poirot/Arthemise. Contains implied smut, emphasis on implied.
Read it!Collapse )

edit because I'm a sillyhead and forgot my fandom summary, here is one. Watch out, it's rambly.Collapse )
